Njicha Care and Empowerment Initiative (NCEI) was founded in 2019 with a passion for transforming the lives of vulnerable children and youth in underserved communities. As humanitarian leaders rooted in a deep concern for vulnerable populations—especially orphans, the sick, school children, and the less privileged—NCEI was born out of the vision of its founder, Nkongchu Njicha Hubert, a scholar and community leader with experience in educational research and social impact across Africa, Asia, and Europe, respectively.
Established in response to the growing cases of school-based violence and societal challenges affecting students, the organization was inspired by the academic research of its founder, who holds a master’s in educational research. NCEI was created to bridge the gap between academic research, social intervention, and community-based care by providing evidence-driven programs that address student behavior, safety, and reintegration.
